WHAT I KNOW ABOUT THE MAJOR RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD

In my opinion, major religion in the world is christian . 

why I can think that religion is the major in the world ???? because I know that in Europe, America and Australia, majority people in that island is christian ( christian and chatolic). I'm christian, and I only know a few about chatolic.
In my religion, we have 2 days celebration, Christmas and Easter.

Christmas is the day when Jesus Christ was born in this world, and we always celebrate that day very glorious. When the Christmas come, we must prepare ourselves and prepare our house, hhe .. we always set Christmas tree and decorate that with accessories and cute lamp. and we always say : HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOD ^.^

children usually hope that santa claus will come. santa claus is old man, have a distended abdomen, long white beard, always use red clothes, have a big sack to bring a lot of gift, and usually come with cart where the deers driving that cart. santa claus come to give a gift for children,hhi

Easter is the day when Jesus rosed from the grave. trhee days before that day is Great Friday. Great Friday is the day when Jesus gave his live to atoned for man's sin.






when this day is come, we always see the children decorate their easter egg, is called tradition..













I will try describe about chatolic :)
christian and catholic don;t have significant different, but usually other people know when people pray,hhe ..
christian just close our eyes, but chatolic always make a cross sign before they pray
I think, in Europe chatolic more dominant than christian, because in Vatikan in Europe.
Do you know abaout Vatikan ????? Vatikan is small city in Rome, Italy
in Vatikan, the Father (paus paulus) lead diocese in the world

LINGO : INDIAN RELIGION/CULTURE

Hinduism (n) : the 3rd largest religion in the world, after Christianity and Islam. more than 85% of indians are Hindus

Sari (n) : A type of clothing worn by Indian women. It's a long piece of cloth that is wrapped around the waist and then draped over the shoulder

Turban (n) : A piece of cloth wrapped around the head, usually worn by men in certain parts of India

Vegetarian (n) : A person who doesn't eat meat

STEREOTYPES

A stereotype is a popular belief about specific social groups or types of individuals. The concepts of "stereotype" and "prejudice" are often confused with many other different meanings. Stereotypes are standardized and simplified conceptions of groups based on some prior assumptions. (http://en.wikipedia.org) 


We have question about stereotype :

why do people usually think positively about themselves but negatively about others? what can you do to get a better understanding of what other people are really like ?

yappppp ,,,, people usually think positively about themselves, because they can't see clearly about their weaknesses. They want another people can see their capabilities or strengths, and try to hide their weaknesses, they feel that theirselves are better than other people. But, if they met with another people, they usually think negatively about others. They always compare themselves with others, and the simple ways to describe that, they usually try to find weaknesses of another people first, without see capabilities of others. They do it, because they are know if theirselves different with another people.


how can we do to get better understanding about that ??

1. we must try to positive thinking about others, we have more differences with other if that the first time we meet, don't try to find their weaknesses, but try to find their capabilities. like a simple words

don't judge a book by it's cover

2.  try to behave friendly, and make ourselves comfort in that situation

 " suwe ora jamu " is javanese song .. this song tell about someone who have a special someone that they are already long time no see.  When they have meeting, one people who sing this song feel disappointed because something T_T .. this song is like a poem, and usually to quip another people ,,hhi .. I'll try to write one part from this song and translate in indonesia and english :)

I'm sorry Miss Karina , I make my task now, because I'm forgot it and yesterday I felt so tired, and didn't have anytime to done it .. ^.^

the important things must I bring when traveling are :

1. mobile phone : because it will help me to contact other person when i need some help

2. money (in my pocket) : because I can buying something when i need (everything )

3. identity card (in my pocket) : if something happen with me, another person can contact police or my family when they see my identity card

4. jacket : because my body always feel bad when I feel the weather is cold

5. debit card : if I need a lot of money, and in my pocket not enough, it will help me to take money at atm machine

6. visa, passport : they are very important when we have traveling in the another country

I can't leave my mobile phone, because with it I can contact everyone, I can browsing (searching in internet), I can online in social network, I can find places with maps in my phone, I can take picture with it ^.^

hello, my name is Astaria Sekar Setiarum .. you can call me ARUM .. but, my friend always call me YUM, and I often add in my name YUMSWIT , hhe .... I was born April, 4th 1990 at Solo, but I live at Jogja when I was baby >.< I have 1 older brother, he studied at Civil Engineering at Atmajaya University .. My father work in the mining office at Semarang city.. My mother work in State University of Yogyakarta .. I studied at Pharmacy in Sanata Dharma University ..

 this is my parents .. my father name is SOESENO , and my mother name is Hartiwi .. They are always love me with their way ,, and I love them so much everytime, and I always try to give the best of me for them.. and I'm sure if I can't live better when they have gone from my side .. I want to stay in their side and always keep them everytime I can :)

Learned from my friend

I learned something from my special friend, ukay. thought my other friends cab ne my teacher too, but I can't remember it now ^.^

I met him more than 2 years ago. I learned something from him, and it made changed my life. After passed my life mmore than 2 years with him, I had more patient if I have problems. I always try to solve that problems relax. I must used my brain for done it. When I didn't solve it with myself, I often asked my friends and him to found the solution. 

Beside that, I learned about saving our money too. Usually he save his money every week. He is different with me, before met him I saved my money just sometime and used my money just for fun and bought everything what I wanted, although would be nothing for me. Now, I start to saving my money every week and use my money for something I need. Although, sometime I used my money for took a picture at photostudio or with my boyfriend. I think, when I learned and do everything like him, I will have better life than before, and I will have a lot of money if I save it, wkkkkkkkkkkkkkk >.<
